Australian dollar lower in forex trading

Real gross domestic product in the United States increased at an annual rate of 1.9 percent in the first quarter of 2011, (that is, from the fourth quarter to the first quarter), according to the “third” estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2 percent in May on a seasonally adjusted basis, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on June 15. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 3.6 percent before seasonal adjustment.
